Aerial Photography over the Centre de Conservation du Louvre à Liévin

Last Summer, I had the distinct pleasure of being commissioned by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (RSHP) to conduct an aerial photoshoot of the Centre de conservation du Louvre à Liévin. With 25 years of experience in aerial photography, I approached this project with a deep understanding of capturing architectural essence from the sky.

The conditions were perfect: a cloudless sky and the vibrant green of the grass-covered museum providing a stunning contrast. My drone photography skills came into play, allowing me to capture the Centre's modern design and its seamless integration with the natural environment.

This photoshoot not only displayed the Centre's architectural beauty but also highlighted the effectiveness of drone photography in architectural projects. As a professional aerial photographer, I bring a wealth of experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every project I undertake is captured with precision and creativity.

Whether it's for architectural showcases or other ventures, my aerial photography services are geared to deliver high-quality, dynamic imagery that adds a new perspective to any project.

Sevenoaks Aerial Photos

Sunshine in Sevenoaks last weekend, although the temperature was quite low. I was visiting an old friend and took the chance to get some aerial photos of the town. Lovely place btw.

For those who never heard about Sevenoaks, here is some info about it:

Sevenoaks is a town in the county of Kent in South East England, located about 30 miles southeast of London. It is known for its historic charm, picturesque scenery, and easy access to the city of London. Sevenoaks is a popular commuter town, with many residents working in London and other nearby cities. The town has a variety of shops, restaurants, schools, and leisure activities, making it an attractive place to live for families and professionals. The surrounding area is also known for its beautiful countryside, including the North Downs and the Kent Downs, which offer a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and horse riding.

Unleashing the Benefits of Drone-Powered Aerial Photography.

Aerial photography is a powerful tool for capturing stunning images of the world from above. In the past, aerial photography was typically done using a helicopter, which was a relatively expensive and time-consuming process. However, with the advent of drones, aerial photography has become much more accessible and affordable. Here are some of the advantages of using a drone for aerial photography over a helicopter:

  1. Cost: One of the biggest advantages of using a drone for aerial photography is the cost. Drones are significantly less expensive than helicopters, and they are also much easier to operate and maintain. This makes them an ideal choice for photographers and videographers who want to capture aerial footage without breaking the bank.

  2. Flexibility: Drones are much more flexible than helicopters when it comes to aerial photography. They can fly at lower altitudes and maneuver more easily in tight spaces, allowing photographers to capture aerial footage in ways that were previously not possible with a helicopter.

  3. Speed: Another advantage of using a drone for aerial photography is speed. Drones can be take off quickly and easily, and they can get up into the air and start capturing images in a matter of seconds. This makes them a great choice for photographers who need to capture aerial footage in a timely manner.

  4. Safety: Safety is always a concern when it comes to aerial photography, and drones are generally safer than helicopters. Drones are much smaller and lighter, and they are equipped with multiple safety features such as obstacle avoidance and automatic return-to-home functions.

  5. Accessibility: Drones are much more accessible to the general public than helicopters. With a relatively low cost of entry and easy-to-use software, anyone can get into aerial photography using a drone, you just need a lot of practice and get uso to compose images from high up, which is completely different from the ground, and that takes time to master.

In conclusion, the use of drones for aerial photography has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason, it made aerial photography more democratic as I say all the time. They are way more cost-effective, flexible, and safe than helicopters, and they offer photographers a range of advantages that were previously not possible. Whether you're a professional photographer or just someone who loves to capture images of the world from above, using a drone for aerial photography is definitely worth considering.

One this to consider is that a camera mounted in a drone sometime might not deliver an image quality that a pro dslr/mirrorless camera can archive, and the maximum altitude you can fly in most of the cases is only 400ft (120m), which depending the size of the area you need to photograph, might be too low, that’s when the helicopter comes in action, and I love it!

Sickingenstraße 70-71, Berlin - Ground and Aerial Photography

Probably one of the biggest properties that I ever photographed, this massive building, the Sickingenstraße 70-71, located not too far from central Berlin.

It just can’t get unnoticed whilst passing by, it is gigantic, from the air, you can actually realise how great it is. Shots like those are absolutely key to present the property to potential buyers anywhere in the world, hence the request from my client to not only photograph it from the ground but also from above.

Aerial Photography and Promotional Video: Discover the Beauty of Industrial Parks and Logistic Centers

As an architectural photographer specializing in aerial imagery, I have had the privilege of capturing the breathtaking essence of industrial parks and logistic centers from above. These vast landscapes, often overlooked in their grandeur, are a testament to the intricate workings of global commerce. Today, I am excited to share not only my captivating aerial photographs but also a compelling promotional video that further showcases the remarkable beauty and significance of these industrial spaces.

Numbers can be impressive when it comes to massive warehouses, capable of accommodating at least 10 football pitches. However, it is the aerial perspective that truly unveils the full potential of these industrial marvels. With each photograph, I strive to capture the scale, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of these logistical powerhouses. The images themselves speak volumes, painting a vivid picture of the vastness and intricacy that lies within these industrial parks.

To complement the stunning aerial photography, I have also produced a promotional video that brings the industrial parks and logistic centers to life. Through expertly captured footage, this video immerses viewers in the heart of these bustling spaces, providing an up-close and dynamic visual experience. From the efficient movement of goods to the impressive infrastructure that supports it all, the video captures the essence of these industrial environments in a way that static images cannot.

Every frame of the video is carefully crafted to convey the significance and complexity of these industrial spaces. Smooth transitions, striking visuals, and engaging sequences draw viewers into a captivating journey above the logistic centers and industrial parks. Informative text overlays and a compelling voiceover provide insights into the scale, efficiency, and importance of these spaces, creating a cohesive narrative that educates and inspires.

With the combination of aerial photography and the promotional video, you can truly grasp the magnitude and beauty of these industrial landscapes. Whether you are a professional in the industry or simply curious about the inner workings of global logistics, this visual experience will leave you in awe of the intricate systems and impressive structures that drive international trade.

Immerse yourself in the world of industrial parks and logistic centers, and let the images and video ignite your curiosity and appreciation for these remarkable spaces. Trinity Trading Estate from above

There is absolutely no better way to show a large asset like a trading or industrial estate than using aerial photographs, which can be done using an helicopter or a drone, depends of the airspace restriction and wind conditions. The results are always very pleasant and worth it every penny. The property below is the Trinity Trading Estate, located in Sittingbourne, owned by ARAX Properties.

Westside, Hemel Hempstead - Drone Photography

There is no better way to show the real dimensions of a property than using aerial photography, either using an helicopter or a drone. Not all the time a drone can be used due to the local air space restrictions, but when it is possible, it becomes a very affordable way to capture a project, a property or just a piece of land from a very interesting perspective.

Drone Photography - It changes everything.

It is amazing how some aerial photographs can literally change the way how you can show a property, the land, the plot, the location, the position, everything becomes visually much easier to understand, specially for the buyer/investor. A lot of people still don’t see the potential of this kind of photos, which has become way more affordable with the evolution of the drones. In the past, for any kind of aerial photography it was necessary to rent an helicopter, which cost quite a lot of money, making the shoot too costly for most of the projects budget, now, using a drone (if the location air space suits), the cost for a decent session of aerial photographs had dropped considerably. This property below. which I shoot couple of months ago is a very good example of how amazing some aerial photographs made with a professional drone can be.
